A talk with a company

I just had a job interview through the phone and I must say, even if you are not seen by the interviewer it is still pretty nerve wrecking. Though I was able to maintain my cool and I was able to keep on speaking in English, it still was and will always be my first job interview.

To all those having or will be having an interview, it would be best if you had studied the company, be proficient in whatever language they speak in, and always keep your cool; be confident.

If you don't know the answer be polite about it and be honest. Don't go and make things up. Also, learn to accept defeat. Learn from your mistakes and try again.

We are all bound for greatness.

Maintaining the path

Continuing on the path to success, well I may not be that successful in life right now, but I believe in the near future I will be. I will of course share to you how that happened. But know that what I am writing and posting here at this blog is also what I am doing to achieve success.

Let's face it, believing you can do it and actually accomplishing it are two different things. However, they are deeply connected. If you do not believe, you will not achieve. If you achieve, you will believe in new things and make new goals and plans. Note that it all begins with believing.

Achievements are made from the belief that you are capable of achieving your goals. The only trick or fall back is, losing that belief.

You must constantly and I mean constantly remind your busy brain and wandering mind that you believe that you are able to achieve your goals. Repetition, that is the key concept.

Just like an early morning shave, it is a routine. Make it a habit and always remind yourself that you believe that you can achieve your goals.

Getting started

We all make plans and goals, but how many of us actually start doing what they plan to do?

Well the answer is, just a few.

Why is that? Is there some kind of sorcery going on?

Well the answer to that other question is in you. Now ask yourself this, why am I not moving? why am I not taking my plans and goals into action? What's stopping me?

After asking yourself those questions, answer them. One or two things in common might surface, now it may not be exact but it may be related. These common answers are, fear and doubt.

Now I know this for I have experienced this. The key to breaking free from this curse is believing. Believe that you will be able to achieve your goals and plans. Believe in yourself that you are capable of such feats. If you believe and if you keep on believing, your mind and body will act on that belief. You will begin to be able to think clearly on how you will be able to achieve your goals. You will be able to concentrate and attain new knowledge to help you achieve your goals.

Believe, then move! If you do not move, your belief will be wasted on an immovable rock, stagnant, unable to achieve anything. Stuck on the phase of belief.

Now go! Go make plans and go believe in yourself. Then move, so that those plans will bear fruit.

Rising up to the challenge

What would you do if you are running low on resources, say money? Would you go look for a job? Attempt to start a business? Or do something that you are good at that would hopefully change your fate? Well either way, whatever you do may gain you some money to go on for longer than a month. But I wonder, I'm currently opting to go do something I'm fairly good at; say programming and drawing, maybe include a little bit of writing. But where to begin? Maybe looking for a job wont be such a bad idea after all. But then again, it really is hard for someone like me to go look for a job in a place like this. Philippines, bah! They keep saying education is the key, well I doubt it, what's the use of education if after you graduate you have nothing to do for there are no jobs available? What is one to do when the job requires you to be a certain age which you are not? Or how are you going to work if the job is strictly for females even though a man can also do the job well? Even people of age are not allowed to work. And if you're pregnant or have children, the more bad things happen: no work! Unless the system change, nothing and no one is safe from poverty.

But still, there are always things that you can do to earn yourself a little bit of cash, just as long as you don't do illegal things.

Been a long time

Indeed, it has been a long long time since I last blogged. It seemed I have lost interest during my absence, but then again, here I am today writing about it. The days that have gone by have been fun. I spent most of my time in school, good old boring lectures. I also participated in some event where we had to design a whole gym. It was fun and we had not slept well for four days. I'm glad I participated in that event. Why? Because I met my girl while planning for the said event. Currently, my friends are making a painting on a wall of my house, more like a graffiti.

Anyways that's it for now. Will blog more now that I got my internet back; it's been gone for two months. I'll see you guys tomorrow.
